Thank you for your interest in our breeding stock.  We specialize in starter flocks for the first-time shepherd and produce quality breeding stock for replacement or foundation ewes and rams.  With an emphasis on meat and wool production, we select from some of the finest polled AI sires in Iceland and utilize farm bred rams  to create a hearty, healthy animal.

When we receive the deposit, your animal will be marked as "on deposit" on the website. Valur is a single ram lamb out of Nanna and the last son of our AI Heli ram 198L "Big Boy".  He is 25.00% Heli, and 12.50% Askur for a total of 37.50% AI bloodlines.  He has an amazing amount of medium-soft, silvery moorit fleece, large meaty frame, well rounded leg muscles, long back, and has excellent harmony.  He is a very dominate ram in the ram pen, but has a  very gentle disposition and is easy to work with.

Lambs by Heracles - FFC Ram B3P 363P

Heracles is a polled, black badgerface ram, born a single May 02, 04 to sire AI FFC-250M and FFC - 210L.  250M is a Flekkurson and there are very few Flekkur offspring left.  Flekkur was a spotted black AI sire with a beefy build, above average fleece quantity and was very important to the coloured North American Flock.  Dam 210L was a triplet Hynkill Daughter named Blue.  AI ram Hynkill is credited with bringing in the "frosted" variation of the mouflon pattern to North America as well as his exceptional conformation and muscular build.  We are very happy to have added Heracles to our flock. Lambs by Dakota - TCE Ram B4P 347T

Dakota was a single lamb, born April 14, 2007.  He is a black mouflon patterned ram with many AI sires in his back ground, Dalur, Flekkur, Heli, Hynkill, and Broddi to name a few.  He is broad and muscular with a thick, beautiful black fleece with flashes of white, he carries spotting as well as moorit.

WPW EWE B3P Polled black badgerface single ewe (from a ewe lamb). Born April 24, 2008. 4 lbs., 5 oz. 45.3% AI blood (Askur, Bassi, Dalur, Dimon, Dropi, Heli, Hnykill, Hunn, Skreppur). Carries moorit and solid.   Thora has extremely fine, soft wool.  Accidentally bred in 2009 to Klaki, she had a July 9th lamb.  Traditionally late season lambs don't seem to do as well during the heat of the summer, but her ewe lamb, Millie, sailed through the heat of summer and parasite season with ease.  Thora was an excellent first-time mother, lambing unassisted in our far south pasture.  She came home with her lamb that evening with the rest of the flock.  You just have to love these sheep!   Thora was bred to Dakota for 2010 lambs that should be c0-expressed mouflon/badgerface.  Sadly, Thora may have lost the left side of her udder due to mastitis this summer.  She still did a great job raising her twins and is a very heavy milker and has many years of production left.   On Deposit

WPW EWE 01P: Polled white twin ewe. Born April 23, 2008. 7 lbs., 7 oz. 56.3% AI blood (Arfi, Askur, Buri, Heli). Carries moorit and solid. May carry spotting.  Sire is a HUGE, well-built ram that was National Champion Icelandic Ram in 2005. Dam is a gorgeous, moorit ewe with a great build and a luscious, thick fleece.  Sire: Preston JAGER AI RAM 01P 801R.  Dam: Ida WPW EWE M5P IDA 8S.  She is a very broad chested ewe with nice meaty conformation and friendly personality.  Perla was not bred in 2009, she was just a little smaller than we like to see at breeding time so decided to give her a year to grow.  Perla was bred to Hercules for 2010 lambs which could be moorit, black and badgerface or solid.   On Deposit

Josephine, a twin born 4/24/06 is a large bodied white ewe carrying solid and moorit.  She is the daughter of Margret and 198L so has 25.00% Heli and 12.50% Askur bloodlines and shows all of the promise of her genetics!  Josephine's fleece has lustrous soft fine thel and silky medium thog.  We're excited about adding her 2009 AI Mokollur lamb, Tinna  to our flock as well.   Josephine now has a lambing record of (1,2,2) and was bred with Dakota for spring 2010 lambs,  the lambs could be moorit, black, solid and mouflon.  Josephine is an excellent mother with good milking abilities.  SOLD

Granddaughter of our beloved Margret and Ram 198L "Big Boy", Mora is a beautiful, single, dark moorit ewe lamb out of Josephine.  She has a large frame, good conformation, beautiful soft tog and thick, thel rich, dark moorit fleece and a meaty buid.  Her sire is, Samson.  Mora has many AI bloodlines including 15.63% Heli, 7.81% Askur, 3.13% Dropi, 3.13% Bassi, 1.56% Dalur, 1.56% Hynkill, 1.56% Skreppur for a total of 34.38% AI.   Mora was an excellent first-time mother to twin ram lambs in '08 and excellent mother in '09 to her Orvar daughter, Opha.  Easy lamber and quick to attend her lambs.  Mora has a lambing record of (2, (1, AI) and was bred with Heracles for spring 2010 lambs that could be black, moorit and/or badgerface.  SOLD

Lilja is a twin and was born 05/02/08.  She is a polled black mouflon, she carries spotting and was born with white flashes.  She has a beautiful stocky conformation, meaty and broad build and a lovely face.  Her wool is thick and dense with wavy locks and her togg is medium.  Lilja is the daughter of Josephine and Freyr and has many AI bloodlines, Heli, Askur, Hynkill, Dalur, Bassi, Flotti, Skreppur, Flekkur, Butur for a total of 41.35% AI.  Lilja carries moorit, has a lambing record of (1) and was a good first-time mom.  She was bred with Heracles for 2010 lambs which should be black, co-expressed mouflon/badgerface.   SOLD

WPW EWE 01P 36W - Rosa     Photographic Pedigree

Rosa is a really lovely ewe lamb out of one of our best maternal lines.  She is a granddaughter of Freyja and 2005 National Champion Ram, Preston and AI ram Mori.  The daughter of Snoja and Morris, she has her fathers stocky build and her mothers very soft and silky fleece.  She was a little small because of being a twin to a yearling but has caught up nicely.  Her mother has been an outstanding first-time mom.  Rosa has shown excellent parasite resistance over the summer.  Rosa was bred to Valur for 2010 lambs.
